This week, Rich Packing welcomed a three-member delegation from a well-known nutrition brand based in the United States. The group-comprising a Production Engineering Manager, a Quality Control Supervisor, and a Strategic Sourcing Lead-visited our Guangzhou facility as part of their evaluation process for expanding capsule production capacity for their herbal, probiotic, and sports-nutrition product lines.
The visit began with an in-depth technical briefing, during which Rich Packing's senior engineers introduced the structure, working principles, and core technologies of our NJP-series automatic capsule filling machines. The team was particularly interested in the NJP-1500D and NJP-3800 models, both widely used in pharmaceutical and nutraceutical manufacturing facilities around the world.

During the technical session, our engineers highlighted several of the NJP series' key design advantages:
These features aligned closely with the customer's priorities, as their U.S. plant is preparing to introduce more HPMC plant-based capsules, which require tighter tolerances and more stable filling conditions than traditional gelatin capsules.
Following the briefing, the delegation entered Rich Packing's clean demonstration workshop for a comprehensive live machine evaluation. FAT-style testing was conducted using both our standard reference powder and a formula sample the customer had brought from the U.S. The NJP-1500D ran continuously for an extended period, demonstrating consistent capsule separation, smooth feeding, and accurate powder dosing with a deviation of ≤3%. The visitors closely monitored weight variation and were pleased to observe stable output even at higher speeds.
The team also inspected the machine's internal structure, including the dosing system, turret design, vacuum system, and safety interlocks. They noted that the machine's overall running noise was lower than expected, and they appreciated the operator-friendly layout, which allows easy cleaning and fast changeover-both of which are crucial for multi-SKU nutraceutical production.

In addition to capsule filling machines, the customer showed interest in integrated downstream solutions such as capsule polishing, metal detection, bottling, capping, and cartoning systems. Rich Packing's engineering team walked them through how these machines can be linked into a fully automated production line, and how we provide system-level validation support including IQ/OQ protocols, FAT documentation, and remote troubleshooting.
Throughout the visit, the delegation asked detailed technical questions covering materials, long-term reliability, spare parts cycles, PLC control logic, and compatibility with HPMC, gelatin, and pullulan capsules. Our technical staff responded to each question thoroughly, demonstrating our commitment to transparency and technical excellence.
After completing the on-site evaluation, the customer expressed strong confidence in both our technical capabilities and our rigorous quality-control processes. They commented that the machine performance was "highly consistent with pharmaceutical-grade requirements" and appreciated our team's professionalism, communication efficiency, and ability to tailor solutions to their production needs.
The two sides concluded the meeting with a discussion of project timelines and cooperation details. The customer confirmed that their internal team would move forward to the next stage of procurement planning and indicated strong interest in establishing a long-term partnership.
We are truly grateful for the trust of our U.S. partners and are excited to begin a close and productive collaboration. By delivering reliable, precisely engineered capsule filling solutions, Rich Packing remains committed to helping global customers enhance production efficiency, product quality, and regulatory compliance.
